I bought a DVD player the other day, it was the cheapest one (we’re a bit skint) and it’s working fine. It looks really small, but if it works there’s nothing wrong with it, is there? I’m not very technology savvy me, my girlfriend knows more about DVD players than me. But I just think that people buy loads of expensive gear for no good reason. I don’t want it to break in a year’s time so I guess how long it lasts is one factor. But when I see one DVD player for hundreds of pounds and another one for fifty, I can’t help choosing the fifty pound one. Does that make me cheap?
I think in this day and age it just makes me sensible. Who wants to spend all their money buying some expensive gear they can get something loads cheaper? At the end of the day, as long as a DVD player plays DVDs without skipping, it’s good to go in my book.
